Hardcore Tri Squad invites people of all levels to join in competitions and training all year round.
Whether you’re a total beginner or an Elite triathlete, there will be people to match your level and help you achieve what you’re looking for.

Started by Doug O’Hanlon approximately 15 years ago, Hardcore Tri Squad developed into a social, yet competitive group who competed in triathlons all over Australia at all different levels.

Training is predominately located in and around the Brisbane suburb of Wynnum. (See map below for location)

The squad trains on Sunday mornings in Brisbane City Councils recently renovated Wynnum Wading Pool. These sessions are held between 6am and 8am.
Why not come and give it a try? The first session is FREE.

What you need to bring to a standard training session:
Swimming gear – including goggles, towel and either togs/swimming costume/Triathlon suit and a pool bouy (if you have one)
A bike – Road bike preferred, however if you only have a Mt Bike, then bring that along. A water bottle is also recommended.
Running gear – including but not limited to: shoes, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses

If you are unable to get to the Sunday sessions, and are still interested involved, a social ride is organised every Saturday morning, leaving Manly at 6am for approx. 65kms (Roughly 2hours plus coffee stop at Cleveland on the way home).
